(A) Steps for download in desktops/laptops

1) Download & extract the "Unicode-Gita" file in the folder "..\bengali-gita_offline" from the download link provided below (D).
নীচে দেওয়া ডাউনলোড সংযোগ (D) থেকে "Unicode-Gita" ফাইলটা ডাউনলোড করে তার থেকে "..\Unicode-Gita" ফোল্ডারটা "উইনজিপ্‌" (Winzip) বা "7-জিপ্‌" (7-zip) সফটওয়্যার দিয়ে নিষ্কাসন করুন ।

2) The BG-email folder should contain the following subfolders & files :-
এই ফোল্ডারে নীচের ফাইল বা ফোল্ডারগুলো থাকবে -

a) "..\FirefoxPortable" (optional, separate download ঐচ্ছিক, আলাদা ডাউনলোড)
b) "..\Fonts-Bengali"
c) "..\gita"
d) "..\Folder-structure" (এই ছবিটির সাথে ফাইল ও ফোল্ডারগুলো মিলিয়ে নেবেন)
e) "..\Readme_desktop.txt"
f) "..\Readme_mobile.txt"
g) "..\START_default.bat"
h) "..\START_firefox.bat" (for using with optional "FirefoxPortable" ঐচ্ছিক ডাউনলোড "মোজিলা ফায়ারফক্স পোর্টেব্‌ল" এর সাথে ব্যবহার করার জন্য)

Folder contents

3) Double-click the "START_default.bat" to launch my website in your default installed browser.
মাউস্‌ (mouse) দিয়ে "START_default.bat" ফাইলটার উপর দুবার ক্লিক্‌ করুন । আমার ওয়েবসাইট খুলে যাবে আপনার কম্পিউটারে ইনস্টল করা ডিফল্ট (default) ব্রাউজার দিয়ে ।

4a) Alternatively, using "Windows Explorer" browse to the file "..\gita\index.html"
4b) Open it by your default Internet browser eg. "Mozilla Firefox", "Google Chrome".
4c) Set it as home page or book-mark it. পেজ্‌টা বুক্‌মার্ক অথবা হোমপেজ্‌ করে রাখুন ।

5) Copy the bengali unicode fonts "Siyam Rupali" & "Vrinda" from "..\Fonts-Bengali" to "C:\Windows\Fonts" if your computer does not have these fonts installed.
আপনার কম্পিউটার'এ যদি ইউনিকোড্‌ বাংলা ফন্ট না থাকে তবে "..\Fonts-Bengali" থেকে "Siyam Rupali" ও "Vrinda" ফন্ট দুটি "C:\Windows\Fonts" 'এ কপি করে নিন ।

Notes:-

(i) Most of the external links (other than those in "bengali-gita.blogspot.com") will not work (Internet connection required).
বেশীরভাগ বহিরঙ্গ সংযোগ (লিঙ্ক) কাজ করবে না । (ইন্টারনেট চাই)

(ii) Java based "Search This Blog" & "Blog Archive" tools will not work (Internet connection required).
"জাভা"র উপর নির্ভরশীল "Search This Blog" ও "Blog Archive" সরঞ্জামগুলো কাজ করবে না । (ইন্টারনেট চাই)

(iii) A command-window will remain open till you exit the browser.
যতক্ষন আপনার ব্রাউজার খোলা থাকবে ততক্ষণ একটা ছোট কমাণ্ড-উইন্ডোও খোলা থাকবে ।

(iii) Not tested in non-Windows platforms like Linux or Mac. Please give me feedback on them.

(B) Steps for creating portable distribution media

1) Download (ডাউনলোড) "FirefoxPortable" from the download link provided below (D).

2) Extract the folder "FirefoxPortable" inside "..\Unicode-Gita" folder.
"..\Unicode-Gita" ফোল্ডারের ভিতর "FirefoxPortable" নিষ্কাসন করুন ।

3) Do not change the default names of files within these downloaded folders.
ডাউনলোড করা কোনো ফাইল বা ফোল্ডারের নাম পরিবর্তন করবেন না ।

4) Double-click "START_firefox.bat" to launch my website directly from the CD/DVD or pen-drive even if the computer has no Internet browser installed and no Internet connection.
ওয়েবসাইট খোলার জন্য "START_firefox.bat" ফাইলটার উপর দুবার ক্লিক্‌ করুন । আপনার কম্পিউটার'এ যদি কোনো ইন্টারনেট ব্রাউজার না থাকে অথবা ইন্টারনেট সংযোগও না থাকে তাহলেও সিডি/ডিভিডি বা পেন-ড্রাইভ থেকে এই ওয়েবসাইটটা স্বাধীনভাবে দেখা যাবে । 

Size requirements of portable distribution media (CD/DVD or pen-drive) :

"Unicode-Gita" (144 MB) + FirefoxPortable (267 MB) = 411 MB.

Notes:-

(i) A command-window will remain open till you exit the browser, you can minimise/close it.
যতক্ষন আপনার ব্রাউজার খোলা থাকবে ততক্ষণ একটা ছোট কমাণ্ড-উইন্ডোও খোলা থাকবে । চাইলে সেটিকে বন্ধ করে দিতে পারেন ।

(ii) No software needs to be installed. Only extract downloaded Firefox portable browser. কোনো সফটওয়্যার ইনস্টল্‌ করার প্রয়োজন নেই, শুধু ডাউনলোড হওয়া ফায়ারফক্স পোর্টেব্‌ল ব্রাউজার নিষ্কাসন করতে হবে ।

(iii) No ads, কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন নেই

(C) For offline browsing in android smartphones

First Extract the "Unicode-Gita.zip" file already downloaded in desktop/laptop.

Old Method:-
1) Copy the "gita" folder in mobile memory card.
2) Using any mobile file explorer browse to the file "..\gita\index.html"
3) Open it by default "Html Viewer" or "Firefox" (android).
4) Make a bookmark and place it on your home-screen or save it as home page.

UPDATE (September 2016) :-
For Android smartphones with OS later than 6.0.1 :-
1) Copy the folder "gita" in the Internal Storage (not in the SD-card)
2) Open Chrome
3) In the address bar type "file:///sdcard/gita/index.html" and press enter
4) Save the link in Mobile Bookmark

Notes:-
a) External links (i.e. other than those in "bengali-gita.blogspot.com") will not work.
b) Java based "Search This Blog" & "Blog Archive" tools will not work.
c) Chrome & UC browsers failed to open the local "html" files from memory card in earlier Android mobiles.
d) But Chrome succeeded in opening the local "html" files from Internal Storage in my Moto G Plus-4th Gen with Android 6.0.1, by following the technique described in UPDATE section earlier. Even the embedded offline video clips are playing. But Firefox failed.
e) Not checked with other browsers or in Windows phone. Please give me feedbacks on them.
